Musa Basjoo in China Valley...it's looking pretty tropical
There isn't anything for scale in this picture, but the plant is about 15 feet tall. This species doesn't often flower or fruit in the DC area but I'm betting this will be the year.
This winters over for you??? I'm amazed. I can only conclude that it's in a very protected location, or that the DC area has increased in average low winter temperatures since I lived there. Wow.
