Rhododendron alabamense, R. austrinum, R. periclymenoides
You can see these native azaleas from your car as you drive past he lower end of Fern Valley. They're in the Coastal Plain planting, a collection of southeastern plants. These three are all fragrant.as are the Magnolias that are starting to flower there.
