Claytonia virginica, Spring Beauty: there are thousands of them in Fern Valley
Spring Beauties, Toothwort, Virginia Bluebells, Trout Lilies, Wood Poppies; the floral progression is picking up steam. The native Azaleas will begin to open any day and the Paw Paw buds are swelling. Fiddle-heads are swelling and the Barred Owls must be near hatched. I've gotta get out there more often.
