Colocasia esculenta 'Diamondhead' and 'Blue Hawaii'
Tropicals just look better and better as fall progresses. That's the positive way of looking at it. The other side of the coin is that they always die at their peak. Actually I guess A.E. Housman would look at the bright side (To an Athlete Dying Young). It's supposed to just dip below freezing this weekend with a dusting of snow. I expect the foliage will be toasted a bit and I'll come in Monday, cut the back, dig the roots, pop them into bags, and stick them under the bench in Poly-8 for the winter.
