Amanda Schutte, the new China Valley Gardener, is in China on vacation
She tells me that she knows most of the plants, thanks to her tenure in the Asian Collections and that cut branches of Chimonanthus praecox are for sale everywhere. Ours, at the Arboretum, are exploding into full bloom now too.
