Morning colors at the Arboretum
(top: Rhus aromatica 'Grow-Low. middle: 'View across the Fern Valley Meadow. bottom: Sun rising through a native tree in the Asian Collections.)
Really nice! Here individual trees have colored beautifully, but different species and even different specimens have started changing at such disparate times - maybe because of the hot, dry summer? - that the overall effect is rather spotty.
Beautiful. I love this time of year best of all.
